
Fernando Osorio Zumarán, originally from Peru, has resided in the Washington Metropolitan Area since 1988. His painting style is constantly evolving – inspired by nature and by human made structures and environments. His experiments in line, shape and color are sometimes influenced by images from popular culture as well. Osorio Zumarán has exhibited his paintings and drawings in the United States and Peru. Notably, at the Organization of American States and the Embassy of Peru in Washington D.C.; The Brookman Gallery in Los Angeles; The Ivonne Briceño Gallery, Gallery 715, the Italian Museum of Contemporary Art, in Lima; and Extebandes in Trujillo.
