Jarvis Grant is a photographer, arts educator, commercial artist, consultant, mentor, writer and fine artist. As a professor of art at Howard University, he helped developed the university’s photography program in the School of Art. A Certified Adobe Photoshop Expert and Educator, Jarvis has been an innovator in photography’s first digital revolution and inspired many young artists as the digital imaging instructor at the Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC. Jarvis has exhibited his work in numerous venues including the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Smithsonian Anacostia Museum, the Center of Fine Art Photography, the Katzen Center and others.
