Morgan Johnson Norwood received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art and art education at Mercer University and the University of Georgia. Along with her studies in art, she earned a minor in biology. Morgan received a Master of Arts in Teaching in museum education at George Washington University. Morgan’s paintings are created by applying many thin layers of oil paint to create an ethereal effect in her images many of which are inspired by visual relationships between the natural world and human physiology. Morgan teaches art at Campbell Elementary School in Arlington, VA.
